Hotel in-house service is a digital layer that lets guests handle every request from their own phone — room service, housekeeping, a spa appointment, a late checkout. Useroam Bumerang Hotel In-House delivers this experience integrated with your guest WiFi and hotel systems, reducing the load on reception while raising guest satisfaction.

What does digital in-house service provide?

  • All guest requests managed digitally from a single point
  • Instant notifications and fast response times
  • A multi-language service menu for international guests
  • Lost-and-found, events and announcement management
  • Satisfaction tracking and reporting

Better guest experience, smoother operations

Guests submit a request without picking up the phone or walking to reception — and each request is routed automatically to the right department. Housekeeping sees housekeeping requests, F&B sees room service orders, and nothing gets lost in a call log. The result is higher guest satisfaction and measurably better operational efficiency. See the Hotel In-House page for details, or explore the full Bumerang guest engagement suite.

Where does guest WiFi fit in?

Because the service portal rides on the guest WiFi experience, guests discover it naturally the moment they connect — no QR hunting, no front-desk explanation needed. The same connection also gives you a consent-based channel for satisfaction surveys and post-stay communication.

2026 update: where the hotel module stands now

Since this guide was written, hotel in-house has grown from a single portal page into an end-to-end operations set:

  • Requests and SLA: every request type is bound to a department, and a breached time threshold notifies the manager; a live monitor left open at reception sounds an alert on each new request.
  • Room board and housekeeping: clean, dirty and out-of-order rooms are colour-coded, and a processed checkout drops the room to dirty while cancelling its open requests.
  • Lost and found: found items are recorded with a photo, the room and the staff member who found them, and the record closes on hand-over.
  • In-room dining: guests open the menu in their own language from the room QR and order; the order lands on the kitchen screen.
  • Hotel Studio: the portal is edited on a live phone preview without code, and room QR codes are generated and printed in bulk.
  • PMS integration: Elektra, Fidelio/Opera and Sedna are supported. Useroam never posts to the PMS folio; chargeable requests appear as amounts in Useroam reports and reception decides what reaches the folio.
