REVENUE
Sell WiFi speed packages
Guests connect free at standard speed. Those who want more buy a package from the portal themselves, and the upgrade applies straight away.
How guest WiFi becomes a revenue line
In hotels and resorts a share of guests wants more than the free tier: the business traveller on video calls, the family streaming in the evening, the long-stay guest working online. Speed packages serve that demand. From the screen they see after connecting, the guest picks a package and places an order; once approved, their speed goes up. The front desk does not have to touch it.

Selling in four steps
Define packages
Create packages with speed, duration and price in the panel.
The guest chooses
Package cards appear on the post-login screen and the guest picks one.
An order is created
The order lands in the panel, where it is approved or cancelled.
Speed goes up
After approval the guest's session moves to the new speed group automatically.
The upgrade lands without dropping the connection
The upgrade is applied to the guest's existing session, so nobody has to log in again and the connection is not dropped. When the package expires the guest returns to standard speed and can buy again. Because the whole flow runs through the portal, it adds no work at reception.
Good to know
- Price and duration are set in the panel and cannot be altered on the guest side.
- Orders are approved or cancelled from a list; you decide how payment is handled.
- Packages can be shown on the captive portal and as cards in the hotel portal.
- Free standard access stays open — a package is an optional upgrade, never a requirement.
