BUMERANG · HOTEL · PMS INTEGRATION

Keep your hotel software.
Useroam talks to it.

Useroam does not ask you to replace your PMS. It integrates with common hotel systems such as Elektra, Fidelio and Sedna: guests sign in with room number and surname, and at checkout their access and open requests close themselves.

Sign-in with room number and surname

When guests connect to the WiFi or open the portal they enter their room number and surname, and the check is made against the stay record in your hotel system. Reception hands out no vouchers, guests memorise no passwords, and someone without a stay simply cannot get in.

  • Verification based on the stay record
  • A personal link valid for the whole stay
  • Access ends automatically at checkout
  • A room number alone is not enough — the surname is checked too

The checkout chain

When a checkout is processed, three things happen on the Useroam side: the guest's portal and internet access ends, open requests for that room are cancelled, and the room is flagged dirty. The housekeeping list updates itself.

The financial boundary: we do not post to the folio

Useroam never writes a record to your PMS folio. Chargeable requests — late checkout, early check-in, in-room dining, speed packages — are recorded as amounts on the Useroam side and appear in the daily summary and reports; whether they reach the folio is a decision for reception and your hotel system. This boundary is deliberate: financial records belong in one system.

If your PMS is not on the list

Useroam offers a REST API, so a different PMS or an in-house system can be integrated through those endpoints. Before setup we agree on exactly which fields are shared — nothing more travels than needs to.

What happens with the data

The integration works with the minimum data needed to verify a guest. Access records are kept and time-stamped on the Useroam side for compliant guest logging, while stay and billing data stays in your hotel system. Marketing messages only ever go to guests who gave explicit consent.

Let us know which hotel system you run and we will confirm where the integration stands today and what setup involves.

Frequently asked questions

Which PMS systems do you work with?
There is integration with common hotel systems such as Elektra, Fidelio and Sedna. Anything else can be integrated through the REST API.
Our PMS runs on our own server, not in the cloud. Is that a problem?
No. Whether your hotel software runs on-premise or in the cloud does not prevent the integration; Useroam itself runs in the cloud.
Does Useroam post charges to the folio?
No. Chargeable requests appear as amounts in Useroam reports; posting them to the folio happens on the reception side, through your hotel software.
Can a guest still get online after checking out?
No. Once checkout is processed, access ends and the portal link stops working.
Do we install anything on our servers?
Useroam is cloud-based; there is no server software to install at the hotel. The integration is configured against the endpoints on the PMS side.
